Learn more about Cotton Fibers
Cotton is essentially a weed so it is naturally occurring and sustainable. The cotton fibers surround seed pods that bust open in a mature plant to be blown on the wind protecting and carrying the seeds. By removing the cotton seeds and combing all the fibers in a common direction (in a process called carding) The fibers can then be spun into yarns dyed and woven into cloth.
